How I'm doing so far...

3 days...

God! Just let me survive for another 3 MORE DAYS!!! (...Unless we are told to do an extra class on Saturday, then let me survive till then...)

This has been a very slow week... 2 days feel like 2 weeks...

I know I'm not at my best this week... I can feel my emotions draining away...

This week... I can just feel myself...Just trying to survive...And I do feel bad for my kids... I love them all... But... I'm not being a good teacher for them at the moment...

I guess... this is one of those times where you feel lonely, depressed... but I wouldn't really say I've burned-out just yet... There are still ideas I've thought about and want to try in class... I'm just doing them half-heartedly... UGH! I feel terrible!

Thinking about it now, I haven't really done a lot of self-reflections ever since I began to teach... I kept suppressing my fearful thoughts and feelings... and I think they are struggling to re-surface now... God! I just hope I won't break down and cry...because I fear I might do just that... (I nearly did as I walked to class this morning...)

Usually, when I realize I'm about to head into this kind of situation, I'd make time for myself to sort my thoughts and feelings out... this time, I think I let myself get there... and now, I find it harder just to think about what I feel. I can hear my thoughts screaming in my head all at once...Shutting them up is one thing, getting to "listen" to them one at a time is another...

Ah... I wish I can just be vulnerable for once and go to someone to cry my eyes out and then get back on my feet again...

I'm like chipsmore... Nah! You can't eat me! XP

Hi all!
(Caution: what I wrote here has NOTHING TO DO with the title above!)

Yeah, I know it has been a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG while since I've updated my blog... (Main excuse: Writer's block or I was just being plain LAZY again!)

ANYway... Just to share with all of you of what I've been doing... (well, some of it la...)

1. Went to KL for a business talk...

Managed to meet up with Iman Lee too!

2. Sometime later, went for Kem Belia @ Putrajaya...

Well...I didn't manage to take any picts during da course... (because it was SO BORING...) But if I were to explain how we were doing...

First Day to remember...

After a long wait... I finally got her! One of my life goals has been achieved! Mixture of emotions churned in me as I continued to stare at her... Her name was Nina-vau ("Light" in Kadazan)... but later changed to Tinipi ("Dream" in Kadazan)... (Explanation to this is written at the last paragraph.)

The best part was... she belongs to me...

My very own beautiful car... My baby... A basic auto VIVA with solid white coating... She really looked elegant... and I can't wait to drive to IPG the next day! =)

Next day - 01/04/2010

Went happily to IPG, singing to familiar songs played by Light and Easy... only to discover class was cancelled... (No, this wasn't an April fool joke!) So I decided to continue with my AE with my comrades at the library... All went well until I thought it was a good time for me to get going home since I had something to do later that afternoon...

Nearly home... then at a sharp curve... a lorry came speeding down the narrow, kampung road and heading my way! With only the thought of trying to avoid that mentang-mentang-lori-besar-ko-makan-jalan-lagi I moved my car slightly forward towards a ditch... and just as I thought "Please don't go in the ditch..." Tinipi's left front wheel fell in... (STUPID LORRY!!! THANK GOD I DIDN'T CATCH YOUR PLAT NUMBER!!!)

Surprisingly, I didn't panic or cry or wail... All I did was said "Crap" softly, tried to reverse but Tinipi won't budge, then called my mom since home was actually few kilometers away.

Many vehicles passed my way, first few simply slowed down, stare at me and my car and drove off... Then, coincidentally some juniors heading back to IPG from school (sem 7 = practicum) stopped and tried to lend me a hand. More people came after that... with the intention of helping me and Tinipi... My mom, Rico and Aunty Mel (who dropped by our house) shortly came to the rescue too...

Looking at the crowd... I was touched and felt very grateful that there are still many whom are kind and helpful...

Minutes later, everyone agreed it was best to carry Tinipi by hand in order to cause least amount of damage to the rim... So, all the men got into position (some even went into the ditch, which was still filled with water in order to assist the carrying of the car!) and on the count of three, lifted her up and placed her gently on the road again...

Everyone applauded for a job well done and all I can do was thank them from the bottom of my heart... And the beauty of this situation was, other than the juniors, the other people whom stopped to help were all strangers... But of course, I thanked the juniors too!

The moral of the story? - Now I'll slow down at the curve and make sure there are no other vehicles coming from the opposite direction before I move. If there are, I won't budge until that vehicle move pass me first.

Besides that, we (as in my mom and Rico... My job's to approve the name, if I like it! LOL) came up with a new name for my little baby... since according to the Kadazan's culture, if something bad happens after one is given a name (i.e. like when a baby is born, and he/she continuously fell ill, its best to change his/her name) because the name may not be suitable... hence the name "Tinipi". =)

I hate being sick...
Not just because of how the pesky little virus make me feel...
Its also because of how some think that I'm NOT sick...

Look, I'm aware that I RARELY get sick...
(And I'm grateful for having a strong immune system....)
But there's that word "RARELY" there; which means I CAN still get SICK!!!

Had this experience recently... again...

It had been and still is a busy month for me and my family...
And this means, of course I was involved as well...

I can hear the voices of responsibility screaming silently in my head;

Catering, baking, handicraft-making, AE, catering, baking, handicraft-making, AE, catering, baking, handicraft-making, AE, catering, baking, handicraft-making, AE, catering, baking, handicraft-making, AE....

It kept repeating and repeating itself up to the extend I wanted to throw up...
I felt angry, stressed, cranky, caged, hurt... everything negative swallowed me whole...

Then, one night, I couldn't sleep... honestly, I didn't want to... because I knew what awaits me in the morning...
Sitting up on my bed, I leaned against the wall-engulfed in silence...

The voice never seemed tired...

I couldn't take it anymore...

SHUT THE F*** UP!!!

Then... silence...

I opened my eyes and stared into the darkness cloaking my room.
The voice was gone...

I closed my eyes again and listened to the soundless night... I embraced the feeling I opened to... It was comforting... I felt free...

No stress... No pressure... Nothing...

I could feel tears trickling down my cheeks...I didn't want to let this feeling go...

I felt grateful to feel like this again... and pray it won't leave me until I'm ready to move forward once more...

My "Reflectia"

Well... I've learnt a lot during the practicum... and the "lessons" continues on... but just to share with you, I've listed some here... Perhaps they might give some insight... or probably just give you a good laugh... ^_^

Situation 1 : On my first day of teaching, I did a bit of ice breaking where the students introduced themselves to me... After the last student introduced himself...

Me: Okay, thank you for introducing yourselves! Since there so are many of you, please give me some time to memorize your names and...-

(Okay, that was my first MISTAKE!!!)

Student A: Teacher! Teacher! What's my name???
Me: (Caught off guard) H-Huh???
Student B: Me? Teacher? What's my name???
Student C: How 'bout me, teacher???

Before I knew it, the whole class was asking me if knew their names!!! Eeep!!! O.O;;;

Moral of the story? Don't EVER mention "please give me some time to memorize your names"!!!

Situation 2: Okay, if you're supposed to relieve a class, no exercises left by the teacher, the kids are "free"... What would you do?

As for me: Let them do their own work! Just set the rules;
1. NO leaving class WITHOUT permission
2. CONTOL their "noise volume"
3. Mau "wrestling/gusti tangan"? - I'm cool with that BUT if you TOPPLE the tables AND chairs... You're done!
4. NO disturbing/harassing/bullying friends are allowed either! >:(

Situation 3 (In one of my classes):

(I was searching for a whiteboard marker when a student from the back called me)
Me: Yes?
Student A: Teacher... (In a soft, whining voice)

(I thought he was not well...So, concerned, I asked);

Me: What's wrong?
Student A: I miss you, teacher...
Me: ...Huh??? (The word slipped out of my lips...)

(I could hear few stifled giggles as I allow a smile remained glued to my face...)

Student A: You don't miss me ka teacher???
(His friends were giggling again... I pretend not to hear him as I continued to write on the board.)
Student B: Ala.... Cikgu ndak kesian dia ka cikgu??? Tinguk! Mo nangis suda dia!!!
Student A: Ya, cikgu... Ndak kesian saya ka???
(More stiffled laughter...)

In my mind, I could hear myself say; "Dei... mmg masi budak lg dorg ni... ^_^;

Situation 4:
We had about 5 minutes left before the bell rings so I chatted with my students in class... just to encourage them to speak in English... I was correcting a student's pronunciation and...

Student A: Nah, see??? That's why la you! "Padetic"!!!(he was trying to say "Pathetic" to his friend whom I just corrected)
Me: (Slightly annoyed) "Pa-" what? Do you even know what that means?
Student A: (Confidently) I know, teacher!
Me: Okay, what does it means?
Student A: Err... heheh... No, teacher... I don't know....
Student B: Ahahaha! Budu! XD
Student A: Diamla ko! Ko la budu!
Me: (Chuckle) You don't even know what it means, and you still want to say that it? ...Where did you get that word?
Student A: From TV, teacher!
Student B: Yeah, teacher! We learn a lot from the TV, teacher!
Me: Yeah, I bet mostly from those action movies, huh?
Both: (Excitedly) Yes, teacher! The TV's teaching us bad things...- That's why la... We like this...

(They kept cutting each other's sentences)

Me: Uhuh... So, you DO know some of it are not good influences, right?
Both: YES TEACHER!!! :D
Me: Then... why'd you copy them?

(Few seconds of silence)

Student B: It's him teacher! (Points at friend) He's the bad influence!
Student A: Eh, mana ada! Ko la tu bad influence! You "padetic", you!!!
Me: ^_^;;;

Situation 4:
Wednesday - Hari Ko-Kum... (So kena pki baju Pandu Puteri la...)

(I was walking towards my class when...)

A student from the class I was heading to: WAAAAHHH!!! (Singing manner) Dia memakai baju serba biru~!!!
Another student: (Continued singing) Dia nampak cantik berseri~ dalam baju biru~!!!
Me: -_-;;

(Looks like I can be spotted from a mile away...)

Situation 5:
I gave group work to my students and I was checking each groups' progress as they continue along...

Me: (Stopped at Group 3) So how're you getting on?
Group 3: Good, teacher! :D
Me: Okay... can I see? (Checked their mind map) Hmm, okay! Keep it up! ^_^
Student A: Uissh! That's because I'm here ba that, teacher! I did all this, teacher!!!
Group members: Yala tu! Eleh!!!
Student A: Btul ba!!! (Looks at me) See, teacher? I did it all ba, teacher!!! Dorg ni duduk ja, teacher!!!
Me: No, I saw your friends doing the work too! So you can't say things like that...
Group members: Nah, kan! Padan muka! Teacher nampak ba!!!
Me: (Chuckle) Okay, okay! Continue with your work! All of you are doing great!
Student A: Okay, teacher! No problem ba tu! I'll do anything for you... (looking straight at me in a somewhat innocent way)
Me: (Dlm hati: O-kay???) Ahahaha...... ^_^;;;

(I was about to turn and check on the other groups when...)

Student A: Teacher! teacher!
Me: (Slightly alarmed) Huh? What's wrong?
Student A: Teacher ada peluh, teacher! (Pointing at my forehead)

(Yeah... their classroom was humid... @.@; But I didn't realize I was sweating like crazy til then!)

Student A: Sini, teacher! Let me help!!! (Taking out a handkerchief)
Me: (Dlm hati: Uh-oh!) Haha! Thanks ___. I think I'll do that myself... Thanks for telling me though! ^_^;;; (Scurries off to another group)

Well... so far, that's a few that I recalled... for now... I'll add on again soon... ^_^

An Act of Kindness...

Last Tuesday, I had a class with 2*...and honestly, I wasn't feeling well. (Due to lack of sleep over the past few days...)

I was aware of the Ss' characters; extremely cheerful and energetic...

So... with the way I was feeling at that moment... How would my class management go?

I decided to ask for cooperation/consideration. So I wrote;

"I am asking for your consideration. I am not feeling well today so please don't make me shout at you..."

And prayed.

I could hear them reading my note aloud to the very last sentence, then...

"Ui! Cikgu ndak sihat! Jan kamu bising sana!" I heard the class monitor.

"Shh! Diam ba kamu!" Another girl scolded the boys.

Up to this point, I could hear most of them shushing each other. I slowly turn to face them, feeling touched... I smiled at them with gratitude... and they returned it.

The boys soon grew noisy again, yet, I do notice their "noise level" were at a minimum... and the girls will continue doing the shushing...

So, the show must go on... I conducted my lessons as planned, even though there were a few glitches, but the activities were completed.

This class... really know how to play with my heart strings...

They can be "chaotic" at times... and those times are VERY frequent...(to the extend of getting a rope and tying them onto their chairs and duct-tapping their mouths... Well, not all of them, of course! And obviously, I can only do this in my head...LOL)

But that day...I really wanted to hug all them and hug them tight!!!

But all I could say was "thank you"...and get warm smiles in return...

It was a cloudy day today... well, sorta...

So, today I thought I'd watch the Winchester boys save the world after redecorating my room as a reward for myself (hehehe...)

(Man, I love 'em even more now!!! XDXDXDXD)

Few hours later, my mom told me she and Haz will be going out, leaving me and Rico at home. So I said, "Okay" and resumed to be engrossed with the series...

I was watching an episode where they were in an old mansion's living room (I think) with the a family, encircled with salt. Just when "Miss Ghostie" appeared and Dean telling the family not to panic by saying that "Ghosts can't pass through the circle of salt"- She did.

She came closer, closer... And then...............-

*CLICK!*

WTF????????????? (O.O);;;

Everything was suddenly blanketed with darkness... It was all PITCH BLACK!!!

(SERIOUSLY?????????????????)

My mind began to be "energetically imaginative" as I fumbled around in search of my torchlight... and I tell ya, I really, REALLY hate the "power-of-imagination" at that moment...

Suddenly...

WHAT THE...-!!! F****!^$%@!*%$!!!

*CRASH! CLANK! PLOP! BASH!*

Silence.....................

"Meow..."

My kitten came into my room and thought I was playing a game with him and began chasing my hands, giving me a heart attack at the same time... STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPID CAT!!!

I finally got hold of my torchlight and switched it on. The first thing I saw was the mess on my study table.... -_-#

(I just tidied the place... Great... Just great...)

I checked on Rico in the living room and saw that he managed to get around using some light from his phone. We lit up some candles waited...

Reflecting back, among the many blackouts I've gone through... Tonight was REALLY the one that made me freaked out... All thanks to a "healthy dosage" of SUPERNATURAL... Ha-ha-ha...

Hi all! How've you been???

Yeah, I haven't updated my blog 4 awhile now... (dunno what to talk about + too lazy...)LOL!

But I had a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery busy month last month I can assure you! @.@; To the extend that I lost track of time, day and date... (Huhuhuhu... Teruk btul! XP)

The harvest festival was one of the events which I consider was actively involved in last month... and I have to admit, it was fun though it did drain the energy out of me at times... PLUS most of the house chores are now under my care, including feeding all the pets... and I'm also helping my mom to finish embroidering all our traditional outfits... (Which ALSO caused me to neglect my blog/emails/fs/fb) ==> Alasan!!! XP

Hopefully this month I'll be less "active" tho... I haven't really felt like I'm on holiday yet... and soon, we'll be starting a new sem...again... (NOOOooOOOooO...!!! TT^TT)

Well... I guess I'll stop ranting for now... Heheh!

It has been about a week and 2 days (I think...) since me n a few of my frenz saw JASON MRAZ LIVE on stage... @ Stadium Negara, KL... but his beautiful voice and charming personality kept playing in my head...

*sigh*
(Honestly, I didn't know that I'd be THAT 'addicted'... lol)

But ~ after that night, I find myself searching and playing his songs as I do my assignments... and I MEAN ONLY his songs; (from his 3 albums; 'Mr. A - Z', 'We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things' AND 'Waiting For My Rocket To Come'... PLUS a few from 'Tonight, Not Again'...^_^;)

Then, I was on Youtube, where I found these few clips!!! OMG! And the audio was damn good too!!!

Today was suppose to be a GOOD Sunday... Since we had a HEAVY week last week.
But a "certain someone" messed up my day... *mutters*

It all began when I entered the kitchen this morning.
I wanted to get something (4got what it was...) then, I saw the fridge door open.
Then, I saw "her" in the kitchen too.
"Nak kasi cair la ais dlm fridge tu..." she said.
"Ok, tapi kasi kluarla suma brg2 dlm fridge tu... Rosak nanti." I replied.

I didn't remember her exact reply, but bottom line, she didn't WANT to take any of the stuff out of the fridge.

(Trigger no. 1)

I didn't wanna say much either after that except; "Bah, ndak pun, ampai newspaper di bwh fridge tu. Basah tu lantai karang..."
And she did, which cooled me down a bit.

Second time I went to get a snack, I saw her washing her clothes and... later, the water flooded half of the kitchen.

(Trigger no. 2)

I subtlely made an exclamation about it by saying; "Alala... Basah suda dapur ni..." and all she said was; "Ya... tadi tu paip tersumbat... sampai melimpah tu air ke sebelah (dapur)..."

(Trigger no. 3)

Later, she dressed herself up and "left the building"... and left us all with MORE frustration to discover that the she had BROKE the freezer door, DIDN'T clean the melted ice ON THE FLOOR OR MOP the water after DOING her LAUNDRY!!!

(AAAAAARGH!!!! @$%$^&&*^*^#)

That did IT!!! I then find myself speaking like a MACHINE GUN to the others!!!

(When you start a task, FINISH IT DAMMIT!!! %&*^&*%$%#@#%^&*...!!!)

(I know they didn't deserve to listen to my ranting... but THANK GOD I got such understanding frenz/housemates... They just gave me light laughs and smiles and tolerated...Thanx hunz!)

After letting out another sigh and listening them telling me to calm down and "bersabar"... I did. But of course, my feelings were still a bit "sore"...

Yet, now I wanna calm down and at LEAST enjoy my night... before heading back to lectures tomorrow... =.=

Hi, all! Sorry coz I haven't uploaded anything in awhile...

1. I was feeling feverish 4 a few days now... and yeah, now caught cold... huhuhu...
2. Was catching up with my CSI Season 7... (Heheh)
3. Feeling too lazy to update... LOL

Neway, we planned this activity last nite; Deciding, agreeing, called few friends, and looked 4wrd to da nxt day...

Who's in? Me, Kiko (The ring leader), Pan2, Jess, Khai, Hanna, Kichi, Jackie (Our "rose" among da "thorns"...) LOL
Where were we heading? SUNWAY PYRAMID
Main objective? ICE SKATING!!!

8++ a.m.
-Pan2 woke us all up... Bright n early... (Urh! I'm x a morning person!...Still, arigato Panchan! lol)
-Everyone started to get themselves ready...

9.15 a.m. - 10++ a.m.
- Head 4 the taxi/bus station
- Headed to Komuter
- Waited 4 the others to arrive
- Took KTM to Subang Jaya
- Frm Subang station took a bus to Sunway Pyramid

11++a.m.
-ARRIVED @ SUNWAY PYRAMID!!!
-Walked around a bit...
- Got lost... Seperated...
- Called each other...
- Met up at the skating rink ticketing counter
- Since the rink needed to be "re-polished", we decided to go 4 lunch 1st...
(Had simple sushi-bento 4 lunch... OISHII!!! LOL)

12.4+p.m./1.00 p.m. - onwards
- GOT IN THE RINK!!! (Oh Yeah...!!!)
*All of us except Khai... She decided to explore Sunway Pyramid instead... ^_^
- After a few awkward moves, I got da hang of it... (But still went a bit slow)
- Round 1:
1) Tried to encourage friends to continue moving around da rink
2) Mula syok sendiri - Got seperated again
3) After a few rounds, went to seat down... (Da skating shoes were getting to be a PAIN!!!)
*While I was looking 4 a seat, Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours" was on air!!! (WHY did they put it on when I was NOT in the RINK??? I wanted to skate to that song!!! LOL) *Pan2 went to Surau
- Round 2:
1) Scanned through the crowd to find familiar faces.
2) Saw Jess and I started to skate 2wards her... n tried avoiding from getting bumped by other skaters...
3) *WHACK!* I was hit! But lucky for me, he wasn't that fast, so I didn't fall down. (I remember the guy coz one, he MADE SURE I was okay be4 he resumed skating... and two, his
orange shirt; It had "SORRY, I'M LATE!" on it!)
4) Found Jess and started to skate with her for awhile... be4 we got seperated again...

2.00p.m.-2.30p.m.
- Skating rink needs another polish... All skaters; GET OUT! (LOL)
- Went to washroom with Jess while the others sat down to rest their sore legs...

2.30p.m.-onwards
- Round 3
1) I was able to skate independently by now... (but still x as good as Hanna.... huhu...)
2) There were MORE people than be4, causing the rink to be VERY crowded!
3) I was at the middle of the rink and wanted to head to the sides to take a break...
4) *CRASH!* I was DOWN!!! This time, it was a young boy with his sibling that bumped into
me... (But they were sweet to apologize and help me up again...Not like I was pissed or
anything... LOL)

3.00 p.m. - onwards
- Had enough skating for one day... We decided to re-group and plan our next activity
- Discovered we were too EXHAUSTED to do anything else, so we decided to go home... LOL
- We snapped some pics, say our goodbyes and took a cab home...

4.++ p.m.
- Arrived home with a SPLITTING HEADACHE!!! (Yup...PLUS my nose became runny
AND it was my 1st day of period...Yayy...)
- Tried to sleep, but suddenly; *GROWL~* my stomach grumbled... =_=; (I nearly cried!)
- Forced myself to get up, fixed myself bread n jam (da quickest thing 2 prepare), ate it
- Went to sleep

7.33 p.m.
- Woke Pan2 for Maghrib prayer
- Felt my fever rose to 38-39 degrees...
- Pan2 offered me some of her Panadols since I ran out of mine... (Hontoni arigato, Pan-chan!)
- Drowsily head for te kitchen to cook something to eat...
*Too lazy to cook rice so, had French Fries n an apple for dinner...
- After shoving the Panadols down my throat, my temperature seems to go down, n my
headache's reduced.
- Decided to surf the net be4 heading to an early night... (*Looks at clock* 11.52 p.m... Is this still
considered "early"...?)

Another thing I discovered during our skating adventure was, everyone in the rink were very nice and helpful. They would apologize if they bump into you, help you up if you fall and won't let go of your hand until they are confident that you were REALLY okay... You won't be teased, instead you'll be encouraged, you'll get more smiles and laughter than cold, disgusted stares... I really liked the atmosphere in the rink because of all these qualities... ^_^

Overall, despite of being aware that I'm not well... and returning home with "severe punishments" to be dealt with... I had lots of fun today. Hopefully, we'll return and skate again soon... ^_^

I stumbled across another JRock group - Versailles
But 4 this band... There were some songs I like, (Like this one - "PRINCE"...and "Aristocrat's Symphony" ref. video below) and some I don't, (Like "ZOMBIE") But I really dig their appearance... (WHY do they (JRock bands, I mean) look sooo...... HOT/SEXY in these OUTFITS???) They reminded me of some game/manga/anime chara. too!!! (Kyaaaa!!!)

In one of my previous posts last year I mentioned about me misplacing my G-pen... N I finally came to a conclusion; I've officially lost it... (How could I be so careless??? Baka!)

So, I had to get a new one... (Ref. pict above) This is the Genius G-Pen 450. It's a bit bigger than my old one, and I like the color... The price; RM 149.00... *Takes deep breath... and exhales slowly*

But thinking over, I think the price was ok, coz I bought my 1st model with almost the same price years back... (I was worried if it was RM200/++ because it was a bit bigger and all...)

So this time, I'm gonna make sure I take GREAT care of it!!! Zettai ni!!! >:(

My 1st Japanese Treat this year!

Yesterday (a.k.a Saturday), my aunt brought us took us out for dinner. (Thanks Aunty!!! ^3^) We were discussing where to go when suddenly she said;

"How 'bout Japanese cuisine?"

My cat-ears twitched excitedly at the suggestion and I could feel my heart thumping like a happy 10-year-old when my mom replied;

"This girl (she was indicating me, of course) likes Japanese food..."

Then, it was settled; Japanese cuisine, here we come!!!

We headed to Pavilion (which was a beautiful place and was worth exploring)and entered Ichiban Boshi. Everything there was OMG!!! (In a good way!)

Deep Fried Salmon Skin for appetizers...

Kushiyaki Moriawase a.k.a Japanese Satay

Deep Fried Tempura Ice Cream *drool*
And of course Green tea! (I ADORE the cup!!!)

Well, these were only a few of the dishes we tried... And they were all simply OISHII!!!

If I were to rate, I would give the food 5/5, service 4/5 (A slight miscomm happened during our order, but it turned ok ^_^).

I'll definitely go there again if given the chance... And I'm gonna bring company... LOL
(Jess, Dedz, Pan2, Kiko... U're da closest... BEWARE!!! hehehe...)

I didn't know how I stumbled upon this group (I think I was saw it in someone's blog) but they somehow caught my attention...(Fyi, if you look @ da pic I used at "New.Try.Outs" that's the same pic that caught my attention) And I tried to listen to one of their song, (Apparently, this one...) I find it not bad! ^_^

Now, like i mentioned above, yes, I have a netlog...
WHICH I didn't even know existed (till few weeks ago)... WHICH ALSO means I hadn't the slightest IDEA what I was THINKING when I signed up for that!!! (I'm not even sure I'll be able to understand it fully...Oh, well!)

My 1st Cosplay Convention!

Okay, so it's not exactly MY convention... What I meant was, it was my first time ever GOING to one... N I still can't believe I DID!!! XD

It was held @ Asia City Complex, KK, Sabah from the 6-7 Dec 08, done by hobbycon. I got to know bout this from my bro's friend... And all of us (3 of my bro's buddies, my bro n me) went to check it out! Here're some of the picts from the event;

As an overall, I really had a great time during the event. But there were two things that I had to "note-to-self"...

1. LEARN TO POSE!!! (Yep... I suck in pictures! I like taking other's pictures but when it comes to me... hmm.... -_-;)

2. Okay, there was one incident where my brother met an old friend (Among a few others... Damn, my bro's too popular!!! LOL) . When this guy approached us, I was thinking;

"Whoa!!! Good-looking guy approaching!!!"

Then it hit me;

"This guy look a whole like EIJI WENTZ!!!" (O.o)

Really!!! About... 85% the same!!! (Most obvious differences was his height and eyes)

*GASP* MAJOR Dokidoki!!!

As he chatted away with my bro, I stood there like an idiot, not knowing what to do! I wanted to take a picture with him but I thought;
"Yeah, so how do I ASK him???"
Should I say;
"Wow, you're HOT! Can I take a picture with you?"

...As IF I would even put those words in my tongue!!! And thanks to my "debating-mind", I blew my chance!!!

*Mutter...mutter...*

(Moral of the story: Sometimes, just SUCK IT UP AND ASK FOR WHAT U WANT!!!) Later, my brother mentioned that he used to come to our house to play PS games (But I didn't remember...Argh! CRAP!!!) PLUS, he's our COUSIN!!! (Well, distant cousin...) I went;

"Wha...-?!!!"

I was in shock for the next few seconds before resuming to the original activity...

And whether you'll believe me or not, that was what happened to me on 07 Dec 2008...

LOL! Hi y'all! Yes, as you can see, these are my latest creations... My mom just got the recipe and we decided to try it out for a potluck we'll be attending... They are chocolate chip cookies with peanuts, if you were still guessing... ^_^

We're pleased with the outcome of these cookies since it's considered our "trial-batch" (They're YUMMY, believe me!!!) and according to my mom, there's a story behind the making of this cookies... But I'll fill you all in bout it later, kay? I haven't really gotten the whole story yet... LOL

Few days have passed since my return home...

Nyu...~!!!

It's been roughly 5 days I since I returned home...
and just as expected, I won't really feel the holiday... huhuhu...

I'm helping my mom out by being her "secretary" and at times, I'll be helping my bro out as well... when he wants me to, that is... participating in some associations' activities...bla...bla...

...And at the moment... I've caught a bit of cold and sore throat... *sob* ...and I have no idea where my G-Pen is... (I fear I lost it...)*sob**sob*

The weather's been a bit gloomy too... since it'll rain almost everyday... so it's hard for me to do my laundry, which has been piling up... (Yikes!)

But, hey! Despite it all, I'll try to enjoy this short break whenever I can! ^_^ (Starting by getting rid of this cold and sore throat!!!) and besides, all these little "errands" will help keep me away from boredom... I guess... LOL (I just hope I'll be able to handle them all!)

Still, I've gotta get my G-Pen back!!! My life isn't complete without it!!! (Where did I put it??? Baka...!!!)Waaaaaaaahhh!!!!

Heard of the quote "You learn something new everyday"? Well, this is like a compilation of what i have learnt so far 4 dis sem...

1. If you're DEAD tired until ur head spins, u have two options;
a) be bold and skip class (I did... OMG! What's gotten into me???) OR
b) still remain a good student n go to class... to discover that it was worth to skip the class in the first place...(hahaha!)

2. I discovered I have the ability to be XTRA alert in the morning (unfortunately, only 4 a short period of time...) when I drink a mug of coffee the nite be4... (if not, all three of our alarms (mine and my 2 roomates') will continue to scream like crazy and I'll still be in Dreamland... LOL

3. If u rely on a planner to plan ur movements like I do;
a) check ur planner often (That's what its for anyway, right?)
b) REREAD what u wrote IN IT and finally...
c) DOUBLE CHECK UR SUBJECTS' SCHEDULE TO AVOID "CONFIDENT - BUT - MISLEADING - ASSUMPTIONS"!!!
(I had to keep my anxiety until the end of the Raya holidays to do my microteaching because of that... and worse, I was the only one left!!! hahaha!!! Serves me right! XD)

4. I learnt the use of "TAG" (Facebook) in an "interesting" way...(ref. to my photo comments @ facebook) Moral of
the story;
a) Don't simply click the damn "TAG" button without "aiming" at someone's face! (Stooooopid mistake!!!)
b) make sure u REAAAAAAALLLLLLY know da full function of a button/link!!!

5. Do NOT, I repeat, DO NOT underestimate lecturers!!! (*Mr. Oringgon *(Name has been changed...LOL) really caught me off guard when he called my name and asked me to give an answer! I really thought that he won't do the "let-me-call-someone-to-answer-the-question" method since he tends to rant in class... convincing us that he was in his own world or something... He nearly gave me a heartattack!!!

6. I realized that my life as a student couldn't be completed without a study table... (Waaaaa!!!!! When can I get a study table??? My legs and back are aching for sitting cross-legged in front of the laptop almost all the time!!!) (Yep, people! I don't have a desk... Poor me... huhuhu)

7. Purchasing food from pasar ramadhan can turn out to be a habit... (For almost a month, I was already getting sick of buying eat-outs... and I know I can cook at home, but I'm being so damn lazy! So, the buying continues... huhuhu...)

8. Sleep whenever u can, wherever u can!!! (I really lack of sleep this semester...*sob*)

9. Being creative can be very, very taxing!!! @.@; (headache...headache...) ahahahaha~...!!!

and finally...

10. Don't assume... I repeat, don't ASSUME that you can pay ur water/electric bills @ the post office (Our mistake!) The person at the counter couldn't even be bothered wit us! (we were left standing stupidly at the counter and when we tried asking how/where to pay the bills, it's like we were invisible!!!) Ugh!!! we're still CUSTOMERS, aren't we??? GEEZ!!!
